Use It or Lose It!
You must use your free government phone at least once every 30 days or risk losing your service. This includes making calls, sending texts, or using data.

- Making or receiving phone calls
- Sending or receiving text messages
- Using mobile data or internet
- Checking voicemail
What Doesn't Count
- Just keeping phone charged
- Receiving calls without answering
- Having phone turned on
- Emergency calls only
Warning Signs
- Text warnings at 15 days of inactivity
- Phone calls from your provider
- Email notifications (if provided)
- Service suspension notices
What Happens When Service Ends
- Service suspended after 30 days
- Phone number may be lost
- Must reapply for new service
- May need new phone number
